CONSTANT ELEVATION started in 2018 as a project between singer-songwriter Vinnie Caruana of THE MOVIELIFE, I AM THE AVALANCHE and PEACE’D OUT and drummer Sammy Siegler of YOUTH OF TODAY, RIVAL SCHOOLS and many more. They released their selftitled debut EP on Revelation Records in September 2019 and shortly after connected with bassist Jani Zubkovs of CASPIAN and guitarist Mike Ireland of PASS AWAY and I AM THE AVALANCHE to make a band of it. Playing their debut show at Throne Watches in Brooklyn, NY, CONSTANT ELEVATION got scrappy and filmed a very raw video with Sunny Singh of Hate5Six. They also played a handful of shows including Caruana’s hometown of Long Island, NY, with MINDFORCE, and the Keystone Jam 3 in Pennsylvania with GORILLA BISCUITS, SHELTER, and others. With four new songs ready to go, CONSTANT ELEVATION recorded Freedom Beach with Jon Markson (DRUG CHURCH, BROTHERTIGER) at Savaria Studios in Brooklyn, NY. Jim Carroll from AMERICAN NIGHTMARE and SPIRAL HEADS joined to further elevate the band. Freedom Beach features a cover photo from Jammi York, who also shot the cover for their debut release. SIDE 1
