First released in 1999, The Fall’s charged set at the Rock Against Racism festive party in 1977 stood as one of Mark E Smith’s favourite Fall performances for the rest of his life. Featuring material that wouldn’t be formally recorded and released until the mid-Eighties as well as early, punk Fall classics, it also constituted the final performance from original bassist Tony Friel.
