DESCRIPTION TRACK LIST
On 23 October 1995, Def Leppard entered the Guinness Book of World Records for performing three concerts on three continents in one day (Tangiers, Morocco; Sheffield, England; and Vancouver, Canada). Slang, released in May 1996, marked a drastic musical departure for the band by featuring darker lyrics and a stripped-down alternative rock edge. The band rehearsed and played the songs together in the studio instead of recording parts separately, resulting in a much more live-sounding album.

The Slang World Tour featured concert production that was also a radical departure from previous tours. The Slang World Tour
introduced a completely revamped concert stage design.
• This was the first Def Leppard tour since the early 1980s to only employ "end stage" production design. Also, in contrast to previous
tours, the Slang World Tour featured a minimalist light show without laser effect.
• Running from 9th May 1996 through to April 27th 1997, one of the very finest shows on the jaunt took place on 15th September ’96 at
the Centre Molson in Montreal, Canada - a stunning concert which was recorded for live FM Radio Broadcast across Southern
Canada, and synched too across many US stations.
• Now available in full on this new 2CD set for the first time, this fine transmission Illustrates Leppard performing at the early stages of a
new era for the band.
