DELUXE VINYL EDITION!!!
Dubbed the ‘Ambulance Tour’ by Eddie Van Halen, due to his visibly painful hip Injury and brother Alex’s neck brace, worn throughout the world jaunt, Van Halen’s 1995 Balance Tour, in support of that album’s release in January ’95, was their biggest and many would say their best since Sammy Hagar had taken over as vocalist in 1985. Covering 128 dates in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia, it started in January ’95 with a couple of European warm up dates, and began properly in the USA on March 9th in Pensacola, Florida, with a show broadcast on TV and Radio across the US, and syndicated too in Europe. This release features the entire remarkable Florida gig, featuring VH classics from across the band’s Sammy Hagar era, plus a few choice classics and covers from earlier in their career. Bonus cuts come from the band’s appearance on the Jon Stewart show a month or so later, on 25th April.
