Sakhalin Rock is a unique creation that includes recordings made in Brazil with pandeiro master Marcos Suzano, and released shortly after OKI,

a tonkori player from the Karafuto Ainu tradition, journeyed to Sakhalin—the birthplace of the tonkori—.

For this new vinyl release, OKI himself has remastered the tracks and rearranged the track-listing. Additionally, the album includes a previously

unreleased private recording, "King Futoshi," left behind by the late band member Futoshi Ikabe, who passed away last year.

This release is a true labor of love, brimming with OKI’s enduring passion for Ainu music. It features tough, heavy dub mixes by Naoyuki Uchida,

and OKI’s tonkori  which cuts through with its sharp, resonant tone, now enriched with the warmth and depth of analog sound. Experience the powerful
