DESCRIPTION TRACK LIST
After many years as technically a solo act following the demise of Led Zeppelin in 1980 and the death of Zep drummer John Bonham, Robert Plant spent the best part of the '90s touring and recording with his old mucker, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, under the somewhat unambiguous moniker Page and Plant. The duo released one live album, No Quarter: Jimmy Page and Robert Plant Unledded (1994), plus Walking into Clarksdale (1998), their only studio album of new material as a duo. After this period, he continued his solo career, but then in 2007, he began a collaboration with the successful American country/pop/bluegrass performer and producer, Alison Krauss.
Their first album together, Raising Sand, was released on Rounder Records in 2008 and produced by T Bone Burnett. The song 'Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)' won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals at the 51st awards, and won Album of the Year, while 'Please Read the Letter' won Record of the Year.
They reunited in 2021 for Raise the Roof, again produced by Burnett, and the pair then continued to tour together, which included a stunning performance at the 2022 Glastonbury Festival, during which they played the Pyramid Stage during an early evening spot on the Friday.
