Tangerine Dream – Somnambulistic Imagery Volume One
DELUXE VINYL EDITION!!!
Tangerine Dream - Somnambulistic Imagery Vol.1
Founded by Edgar Froese in 1967, Tangerine Dream has seen numerous personnel changes across its career, with Froese having been the only continuous member -until his death in January 2015. The best-known line-up of the group was its mid-70s trio of Froese, Christopher Franke, and Peter Baumann. In the late 1970s, Johannes Schmoelling replaced Baumann. By the mid-1980s, Froese and Franke were joined by Paul Haslinger, and it was this line-up that performed the concert now presented on this two part release. Recorded for FM Broadcast at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre, in Laguna Hills, California on the 6th June 1986, the group performed a set of previously unreleased material, making this release something of a collector’s item for fans of this quite extraordinary group of ever-changing musicians, who still exist to this day.
