Formed in 1981 by guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, drummer Dave Lombardo, and bassist and vocalist Tom Araya, Slayer's
fast and aggressive musical style made them one of the "big four" bands of thrash metal, alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax. Slayer's final line-up comprised King, Araya, drummer Paul Bostaph and guitarist Gary Holt. Slayer announced in January 2018 that it would embark on its final world tour, which took place from May 2018 to November 2019, and the band subsequently disbanded. During their career Slayer released twelve studio albums, two live albums, a box set two EPs and a covers album.

This triple CD boxed set contains 3 live albums from Slayer recorded at various times during their 40-year career, all of which were recorded for live FM Radio broadcast ensuring excellent sound quality throughout.

First up, DISC ONE houses the band’s legendary show recorded at Le Zénith, in Paris, on 22nd November 1991, while they weretouring their Seasons In The Abyss album. Next, on DISC TWO, Slayer’s Monsters Of Rock show from Buenos Aires in 1994 features,a magnificent stadium show recorded at the famous River Plate in the Argentinian capital.

To conclude this superb set, DISC THREE features the group’s dynamic show recorded at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden on 3rd July 2011.
