• Released as a double album on 18 November 1974 by Charisma Records, Genesis’ sixth studio album, The Lamb Lies Down On
Broadway, was released to initial mixed critical reception, though it has since received major acclaim from the music press. It peaked at No. 10 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 41 on the US Billboard 200. Genesis supported the album with their 1974–1975 tour across North America and Europe, playing the album in its entirety over 102 dates. The album continued to sell, and reached Gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America in 1990, for shipment of 500,000 copies.
• On 17th December 1974 the group performed at the Auditorium Theater in Rochester, NY, where they put on perhaps the finest concert of the tour and one that was recorded for live FM Radio broadcast across the East Coast of the US. Previously unreleased this stunning show is now available for the first time on this 2 CD Set.
